Being a mom is hard enough. Prioritizing your health and fitness shouldn't be.
Being strong is so much more about how you feel than how you look. You don't need a six pack to keep up with your kids. You don't need to fit back into you pre-pregnancy clothing in a set amount of time (or ever). And you certainly don't need to achieve your "perfect post-baby bikini body."
Honestly, typing that phrase makes me want to vomit.
I'm passionate about finding a health and fitness plan that works FOR you and WITH you. Over my past four years as a trainer, I've learned two of the biggest keys to long-term success: Loving your workouts, and having them fit into your hectic schedule when it's most convenient for you.
Mom So Hard is committed to helping you achieve your wellness goals at a price you can afford, with flexibility that works with your schedule.
My name is Sam Bangs. Yes, that's my real name.
I'm an ACE certified personal trainer, USATF Level I running coach, an actor, and a mom.
I stumbled into personal training as a flexible day job for my acting pursuits, and fell in love with helping others achieve their fitness goals. I struggled with body issues for most of my childhood and nearly all of my adult life, but in showing my client's their inner strength, I was able to find my own.
During my pregnancy and postpartum period, I was frustrated with the lack of program variety, and fitness expertise available to new and expecting mothers -- especially for the cost.
After working with pregnant women and new moms, and my own fit pregnancy journey, I knew I wanted to offer the best available programming to other women in the most convenient and affordable way possible.
In addition to the information and experience I've gained thus far, I'm also on track to receive my Fit For Birth certification in the coming months.
